Illumi, my first UX design project, provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the user centric design process. Through iterative processes and user feedback, I refined my design skills and deepened my appreciation for design philosophy.

Illumi was conceived as a response to my background in designing luxury homes for clients. I wanted to make this kind of bespoke design experience easily available to more people at the click of a button.

My wife and I are very passionate about wine and are always searching for a better way to manage our wine collection. The app we currently use, a default tool for many in the wine industry, includes a lot of menus, no visuals, and uses a barcode system that requires you to print out labels to stick on the bottle. We've heard time and again from collectors and sommeliers that they long for a better option. I challenged myself to design a better wine inventory management app from scratch, with a focus on a much more seamless user experience.
